LIQUID NUTRITIONAL SUPPLEMENT PROGRAM

Liquid nutritional supplements provide extra calories, protein, vitamins & minerals. PCF provides two different brands of nutritional supplement products free of charge to qualified patients during their treatment.

EnsurePlus® is a standard, conventional well-rounded nutritional beverage.

Kate Farms® is a nutrition formula made with organic ingredients and is plant-based. It is made without dairy, soy, corn, gluten, or nuts.

Both products provide a similar array of essential nutrients. Oncology patients at Maui Memorial Medical Center, Kaiser Permanente and the Moloka'i Kukui Ahi program benefit from this program. A doctor's prescription and referral is required.

Sally Pechstein is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, who comes to PCF with 20 years of experience as a Nutrition Counselor, 8 years in an outpatient clinical care setting and 15 years in private practice.  She offers her clients compassionate guidance and information when navigating health challenges that impact and/or are affected by their nutritional choices.  Sally has a deeply held belief in the holistic nature of health and healing, and advocates a blend of conventional medical nutrition therapy and a complementary/ alternative approach to wellness.
